Design Shanghai is one of the world’s most prestigious international design events and the leading design event in Asia. Constantly breaking new ground, it has set a precedent in China‘s ever-growing design community. Showcasing the best design brands and galleries from across the globe, Design Shanghai provides a unique and exciting platform to network and establish long-term business relations with Asia‘s top architects, interior designers, property developers, retailers and private buyers.March 2017 will see the return of Asia’s premier design event at the stunning Shanghai Exhibition Centre, featuring even more of the finest international design companies and galleries.

Five Shows in OneDesign Shanghai aims to explore how eastern and western design philosophies can work together synergistically across the five design halls. Workplace Design Hall – is key for exploring trends and designs that are shaping the new way of work. Kitchen & Bathroom Design Hall – demonstrates quality innovation across components, materials, equipment and effective space optimization. Collectable Design Hall – offers a platform to explore the realm of limited-edition design and its position at the intersection between the worlds of art and design. Fondazione Prada – “K”

Fondazione Prada presents the exhibition “K” in its Milan venue from 21 February to 25 October 2020. This project, featuring Martin Kippenberger’s legendary artwork The Happy End of Franz Kafka’s “Amerika” accompanied by Orson Welles’ iconic film The Trial and Tangerine Dream’s late electronic album The Castle, is conceived by Udo Kittelmann as acoexisting trilogy. “K” is inspired by three uncompleted and seminal novels by Franz Kafka (1883-1924) - Amerika (America), Der Prozess (The Trial), and Das Schloss (The Castle) - posthumously published from 1925 to 1927.
