A’ Design Award & Competition is the World’s leading international design competition. The A’ Design Awards are organized in many creative fields to feature the excellent design works from all countries in all disciplines. Entries to the A’ Design Competition are blind peer reviewed by an influential jury panel of experienced academics, top press members and established professionals. A’ Design Award & Competition is an opportunity for distinction, eminence, promotion and international recognition to The A’ Design Award Winners through the Coveted A’ Design Prize which is given to celebrate all the awarded designs.

The “A’ Design Prize” was designed to create value for the awarded works. The Coveted “A’ Design Prize” includes : design excellence certificate, invitation to the exclusive gala-night in Italy, both online and physical exhibition of awarded designs, A2 poster of awarded projects, hardcover printed best projects’ yearbook publication, special 3d printed metal award trophy in luxury black box, international media campaign, an exclusive interview with the winner, press kit preparation and distribution, good design symbol, pitching award winning designs to press members worldwide, articles through design award press partners, inclusion in World Design Rankings and further tools and services for PR.

The A’ Design Award & Competition has a grand goal to advance society by expanding the frontiers of science, design, creativity and technology forward by creating opportunities for innovators to come up with superior ideas. The “A’ Design Competition’s Awarded Design” logo, given to award winning designs, signifies original, functional and friendly designs that make the world a better place.

There are many categories such as Good Industrial Design AwardGood Architecture Design Award, Good Product Design Award, Good Communication Design Award, Good Service Design Award, and Good Fashion Design Award.

Submissions are accepted every year until the design award deadline of February 28th (for 2016, entries has been extended till March 7!) and results are announced annually on April 15, at the end of World Design Days. Designers from across the globe are invited to take part in the accolades by entering their greatest design works, projects and products. Flesh, corpses, souls and bland flashlights, all composite into seconds or milliseconds of lights and shadows, projecting onto the film that never knows how to lie. Focus gathering and the shutter releasing, connecting his unpretentious, rebellious, wild and free perspectives towards the naked human body. The images look so natural, yet fun and unexpected. One soul after another all blossom like a newborn baby, urging to crawl out of his mother's womb, dying to be redefined. In this era that we live in, being censored by the Chinese government has almost become a stamp of approval for contemporary artists. Ren Hang, a young man with a mature look and tanned skin, hair as short as a Chinese soldiers', always carrying an irresistibly cute and innocent smile on his cheeks. He is, perhaps, the sole artist and photographer with the most edgy outlook towards the naked human body. Read more

After having finished her studies in the UK, Gail decided to return to Hong Kong, and had recently graduated from her B.F.A photography degree in Savannah College of Art and Design, Hong Kong. She was fortunate enough to have had the chance to work with local studios and art centers, and had her work featured in magazines and online platforms. Colors play a major role in many of her works, as Gail believes colors reflect and communicate one's emotions deeply. Read more
