A.pair

A.pair is a Seoul based contemporary jewelry design studio established in 2010 by JiYeon Kim. She has exhibited at 100% design Tokyo, Copenhagen design week and lately Maison & Objet in Paris. A.pair brand name comes from a pair of earrings’s words. Operating under the motto of “Innovative materials” and shows diverse utilization of materials.

With existing and ordinary materials, rather than new materials, products are differentiated from others and developed with contemporary ideas through graphics. A.pair‘s earrings inspired by architecture hand cut them into graphic pieces and create a single graphic object. These graphic earrings are made using enamel patent leather.

Diverse and vivid colors of enamel leather earrings can surpass the limits of colors possessed by the previous jewelry materials. Forms can also be used more flexibly than metal materials. In addition, surface is glossy and conjures up softness. A.pair has other products consisting of various materials.
