Amantes, danzantes & acróbatas
Timeless pieces, sustainable textiles, and an ethical setup are at the core of our brand. This season showcases garments with body part patchworks jumping out, snippets of lingerie stitched onto oversize blazers, the feminine and the masculine; the intimate on the outside, a reverse layering. Hand-knitted garments using recycled cotton, reveal the figures of dancers within the pattern. Hand-dyed shirts using natural pigments, and pieces made from deadstock textiles. Together, these form our SS22 collection.

The human form and contemporary art are constants in our collections. This season, “Amantes, danzantes & acróbatas” takes inspiration from Matisse, both in his work “La danse” as well as the fragments of the body seen in his “Blue nudes” series.
Also present are acrobats; the deconstructed, amorphic figures found in Picasso’s work. His muses, like Françoise Gilot, an artist in her own right who was famously the only woman to leave him. And Dora Maar, a photographer and artist with a distinctive style, although often in Picasso’s shadow. Talented, driven women, overlooked in their time, inspiring us today.
