Now in its fifth year, Art Takes Miami is an art publication and digital exhibit presented at SCOPE Art Miami. The selected artists will be seen by 1.2 million viewers online worldwide and by 32,000 exhibition visitors at SCOPE Art Miami.

Exhibit Within SCOPE Art Miami

Alongside the print publication, six artists and six photographers will be shown in a digital exhibition within SCOPE Art Miami. For more than a decade, SCOPE has been one of the largest and most global art fairs, with shows in Miami, Basel, New York, and London.

Have Your Work Seen by the World

The “Art Takes Miami” publication will be printed and distributed at SCOPE Art Show, both within the fair and within VIP Guest Bags given to 250 of the most influential people in the art world. The 12 selected artists will also be promoted online to over 1.2 million viewers through SeeMe and SCOPE Art.

Our members have gone on to win critical acclaim, gallery representation and even a feature in a documentary television series on HBO.

One artist, as selected by our jury panel, will be awarded a $10,000 cash grant.

I am looking for abstract compositions in my surroundings to capture them photographically. The objects and situations are neither changed, arranged nor manually illuminated, nor are they subsequently edited on the computer, even the detail is identical to the shot. All pictures are 'Pure Photography'. I see my surroundings as a 'natural exhibition space'. I find works of art on the pavement, on building walls, in the water and in factory buildings. These works of art are fixations of the moment and therefore difficult to reproduce. A different angle of view, a changed incidence of light, and the colours, bizarrely changed forms have disappeared. Read more
