ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the WINNERS of the ARTIST OF THE MONTH – APRIL 2025, a competition open to anyone and established to increase and develop the art market and the dialogue between collectors, art critics, journalists and art lovers. Making contemporary art accessible to all.

Artworks have been judged based on creativity, originality, quality of work, and overall artistic ability. The winner has been chosen based on the quality of a single entry as well as the quality of overall work.

Greta Schnall . Germany

Greta Schnall, born in 1964 in Bavaria, Germany, finds her creative balance in photography and digital image processing. Since 2006, she has focused on nature photography, with a particular passion for macro photography, later expanding her practice to include landscape and architectural photography. Her journey into digital image processing began in 2008 and has grown steadily ever since. Greta is fascinated by the transformation of ordinary buildings into spectacular, imaginative compositions. Her work challenges perceptions of monotonous and utilitarian architecture, reimagining it as part of a vibrant, surreal, and often more optimistic world. Influenced by cubism, surrealism, and her love for architecture, she strives to merge these themes in her photographic practice.

Yuko Hwang . USA

Yu Harn (Yuko) Hwang is a 3D artist with a background in design and a BFA from the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles. Her artistic journey began during her early studies in Taiwan, where she first encountered 3D animation and modeling. Yuko’s creative approach blends narrative-driven design with a meticulous technical process. She begins each project with geometry blockouts and basic camera framing, later refining the work through careful lighting, material definition, and scene composition. Her use of tools like Unreal Engine 5 and Maya allows for real-time iteration and high levels of photorealism, thanks to features like dynamic lighting and reflections. Inspired by science fiction, her work often explores detailed environments that reflect both functionality and atmosphere, focusing on building immersive digital spaces that convey story, mood, and depth, with a strong eye for form and structure.
