Artists + Designers Wanted: Showcase Your Work on the Billboards of Times Square

Be a part of this summer’s brightest, most immense exhibition of art and design.

Right now, there are over 90,000 viewers collecting their favorite works on the Art Takes Times Square website to help determine whose artwork will take over the massive, glittering screens of  Times Square this June.

You’re invited to be a part of this international phenomenon for a chance at over $16,000 in awards, including a massive Times Square billboard exhibition for the winning artist and a $5,000 Dream Getaway in NYC for the winning collector.

LEE BUL: UTOPIA SAVED

Lee Bul (b. 1964) is an artist based in Seoul, South Korea. Trained as a sculptor during the period of social and political upheavals of the 1980s, she started off her artistic career with performative pieces that incorporated wearable soft sculptures. In the 1990s she gained international recognition with a series of provocative works, including her scandalous installation of fresh fish left to decay and her Cyborg sculptures, hybrids of machine and organic forms.
