The main theme of the collection “Dymocka” is the traditional Dymkovo toy, its historical forms and decorative ornaments.

The collection features simple shapes: an oval, a cone, a rectangle; fabric patterns – lines and checquers. Basic colour scheme of the collection – clay and colors applied onto a clay surface. Beauty and plasticity of clay…

About the artist: She graduated in 2012 Ivanovo State Textile Academy. Specialty – designer stylist. Specialization – the development of a pattern of fabric for clothing. Barbara Vasileva designer of clothes and she created patterns for tissue. Graduated in 2012 Ivanovo State Textile Academy, Russia, Ivanovo city.

Her work is based on the design pattern of the fabric. Print and pattern create form and composition of costume in its collections. Barbara uses authentic Russian patterns. By creating collection she always try to talk an important story or themes for people.

HENRI CARTIER-BRESSON. LA GRAND JEU

Palazzo Grassi presents 'Henri Cartier-Bresson. Le Grand Jeu', co-organised with the Bibliothèque nationale de France and in collaboration with the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson. The exhibition is a unique project based on the Master Collection created in 1973 by Cartier-Bresson at the request of his art collector friends Dominique and John de Menil, for which the photographer carefully selected the 385 best images from his contact sheets. Six sets of this extraordinary collection of the photographer’s work were printed and are conserved at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the University of Fine Arts in Osaka, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Menil Collection in Houston as well as at the Pinault Collection and at the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson.
