CALL FOR ARTISTS
CANVAS INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2023

ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with YMX Arts, is pleased to announce the open call for CANVAS ART FAIR, international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture and performance art, which will take place in London, at THE LINE Contemporary Art Space (click here to learn more on this venue) between July 28 and October 13, 2023.

CANVAS is an International Art Fair that will present collective and solo projects by leading and emerging international artists. The 2023 edition will represent a forum for the direct exchange of ideas and contacts between collectors, artists, photographers, designers and art professionals. The art fair features paintings, sculptures, photography, installations, video art and live performance.

The word “canvas” was used for the first time in Italy in the 14th century and it has become the most common support medium for oil painting, replacing wooden panels. Over the centuries, the canvas’ meaning has changed, starting from paintings, through photographic and cinematographic film, exploring the human body, to the digital world. Canvas is the creatives’ common ground, on which they can express themselves. We invite all the artists to share their personal artistic research through any kind of media, from painting to sculptures and installation, from photography to video art and live performance.

Artists, photographers, video makers, and performers are invited to submit their works. To take part in the selection, send your works’ submissions with a CV/biography, some still images (for video art), links to videos/films/performances and pictures via e-mail to director@itsliquid.com or fill out the form below

CANVAS will provide artists and exhibitors with the unique opportunity to present their works to an international audience of professionals as curators, gallerists, collectors, editors and publishers who seek to acquire, publish and encourage the best contemporary art talents.

CANVAS INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR consists of 3 main events:

– BODYSPACES from July 28 to August 11, 2023, at THE LINE London
Deadline for applications is July 14, 2023 (11.59 PM your local time)

– BORDERPLACES from August 31 to September 14, 2023, at THE LINE London
Deadline for applications is August 15, 2023 (11.59 PM your local time)

– VISIONS from September 29 to October 13, 2023, at THE LINE London
Deadline for applications is September 15, 2023 (11.59 PM your local time)

Artists are free to take part in one or more events. To take part in the selection fill out the form below

The participation includes the following services
– exhibition space dedicated to the artist’s works
– assisting with customs formalities, international shipping and local transport
– assisting in finding accommodation
– the design and printing of invitation cards, posters
– the global and local press office, publicity, press, banners, totem, etc.
– the realization of the exhibition website and dedicated press releases
– mounting and dismounting of the exhibition
– exhibitions opening event with drinks and food
– a dedicated interview published on ITSLIQUID website and spread on our social networks
– providing services and drinks for small meetings at the exhibition places for invited guests

Ever since 2001, ITSLIQUID Group has presented a high-quality selection of collective and solo shows in our locations, creating a unique opportunity to exchange new ideas and increase and develop the art market and the dialogue between collectors, art critics, journalists and art lovers. Making contemporary art accessible to all.

We work in collaboration with a talented network of publishers, dealers, curators and arts professionals, providing artists with customized services and opportunities to have their works exhibited, published and represented through various platforms.

The number of works you can submit is unlimited. Participation in the art show requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation is open to artists, architects and designers, associate groups and studios.

Artists and architects interested in taking part in our shows are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments and their representatives; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events.
