It’s LIQUID Group is selecting all interesting architectural projects, photos, paintings, video art, installations/sculptures and performance art works to include in the next event:

CONTEMPORARY SHANGHAI – It’s LIQUID International Art Show, international exhibition of architecture, photography, painting, video art, installation and performance art will be held in Shanghai from March 25 to April 15, 2017.

Selection is open to video art, photography, painting, sculpture/installation, architectural and design projects, art performance and experimental dance. Artists, architects, designers, photographers, video makers and performers are invited to submit their works and projects by e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com

CONTEMPORARY SHANGHAI is organized and curated by Arch. Luca Curci (director of It’s LIQUID Group). The It’s LIQUID project coordinator for Shanghai is Federica Buonsante.

CONTEMPORARY SHANGHAI is an exhibition of contemporary art and architecture, an opportunity for international artists and architects to show their works in the heart of the three most renewed Art Districts of Shanghai. The exhibition is focused on the concept of contemporaneity and innovation as the ways to build the future. We aim to discover the social, physical and cultural identities of our contemporary societies and their process of transformation. The interaction between the all the social phenomena and the artists research, creates an evolution of the mankind and the same artists, with a direct reflection on the development of the contemporary societies and the cities. We invite artists and architects to share their works, ideas and researches based on the theme of the event.

Artists and architects interested in taking part in our shows, are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments and their representers; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events. Artists  and architects are free to take part in one or more of the programmed events.

To take part in the selection, send your works’ submissions with a CV/biography, some still images (for video-art), links of videos/films/performances and pictures of artworks via e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com

Selection is open to video art, photography, painting, sculpture/installation, architectural and design projects, art performance and experimental dance. Artists, architects, designers, photographers, video makers and performers are invited to submit their works and projects

The number of works you can submit is unlimited. The participation in the festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation opens to: artists, architects, designers, photographers, video makers, performers, architects and designers, associate groups and studios.

About us

Starting from 2001, Luca Curci with It’s LIQUID Group, has curated and organized more than 150 contemporary art events, with the participation of about 5.000 international artists from all-over the world (UK, Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Portugal, The Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Greece, Germany, Turkey, Poland, USA, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Israel, UAE, Russia, Thailand, etc.) with an average of 45 artworks exhibited in each show (with a maximum of 108 artists involved in the great MORPHOS festival held in Venice during the Architecture Biennale 2014). The organization has international partnerships with art venues in Italy, Turkey, USA, Spain, Argentina, UK, Middle East, etc., and collaborates with museums, galleries and institutions such as MuMo – Museum Montanelli in Prague, Laura Haber Gallery in Buenos Aires, MIXER gallery in Istanbul and MECA art center in Almeria.

Patrizia Donà is a successor of the long family tradition originating from the island of Murano, Venice. During her childhood, she used to spend many summers in a family manufacture, helping putting together crystal parts of Venetian chandeliers, whose production is a unique and unsurpassed process. So Patrizia grew up surrounded by artisanal works, in an atmosphere where striving for perfection and continuous improvement came to her naturally.
