International Video Art Limousine Festival

It’s LIQUID Group is selecting all interesting experimental video art and short films to include in the next exhibition:

ALCHEMIC CITIES – International Video Art Limousine Festival, that will be presented in a very experimental art space: a limousine, which will run around the streets of New York City. A limousine will perform in the center of New York City and passengers will be transported by video art on June 07, 2017. The limousine tour will start and arrive from/to the most important places in the city.

Selection is open to video art and short films. Artists, photographers, video makers and filmmakers are invited to submit their works by e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com

ALCHEMIC CITIES is organized and curated by Arch. Luca Curci (director of It’s LIQUID Group).

 

 

ALCHEMIC CITIES is focused on the concept of the transformation, starting from the alchemical processes to create new cities and possibile worlds. The contemporary cities are living places, that develop everyday themselves, modifying their structures, urban and natural landscapes. The changing spaces interact and influence the human life and behaviours. We invite artists to share their researches about the changing processes, using the relationship between the mankind and cities as field of artistic reflection. The festival is an opportunity for the international artists to show their works in the cosmopolitan New York City.

Artists, photographers, filmmakers, video makers, associate groups and studios, are invited to submit their works of video art and short film. To take part in the selection, send your works’ submission with a CV/biography, some still images, links of videos/films via e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com

 

Artists interested in taking part in our shows, are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments and their representers; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events. Artists are free to take part in one or more of the programmed events.

 

 

The number of works you can submit is unlimited. The participation in the festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation open to: professional artists, filmmakers, associate groups and studios. The number of works you can submit is unlimited.

Starting from 2001, Luca Curci with It’s LIQUID Group, has curated and organized more than 150 contemporary art events, with the participation of about 5.000 international artists from all-over the world (UK, Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Portugal, The Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Greece, Germany, Turkey, Poland, USA, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Israel, UAE, Russia, Thailand, etc.) with an average of 45 artworks exhibited in each show (with a maximum of 108 artists involved in the great MORPHOS festival held in Venice during the Architecture Biennale 2014). The organization has international partnerships with art venues in Italy, Turkey, USA, Spain, Argentina, UK, Middle East, etc., and collaborates with museums, galleries and institutions such as MuMo – Museum Montanelli in Prague, Laura Haber Gallery in Buenos Aires, MIXER gallery in Istanbul and MECA art center in Almeria.
