It’s LIQUID Group, in collaboration with International ArtExpo, is selecting all interesting experimental video and short film works to include in the next 2016 exhibition:

It’s Liquid Experimental Cinema and Video Art Festival, curated by Arch. Luca Curci (director of It’s LIQUID and International ArtExpo) with the collaboration of Nadia Perrotta (Project Coordinator), that will be hosted at The Underground Cinema, a pop up cinema programme run by Nucleus Arts in Chatham, Kent (UK).
It’s Liquid Experimental Cinema and Video Art Festival will be presented on March 16, 2016, from 06:00 to 08:00 PM

Selection is open to artists, architects and designers, photographers, filmmakers, video makers, associate groups and studios are invited to submit their works of video art and short film. To take part in the selection, send your works’ submission with a CV/biography, some still images, links of videos/films via e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com
 
Deadline for applications is March 10, 2016  (11.59 PM of your local time).

Artists interested in taking part in our shows, are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments and their representers; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events. Artists are free to take part in one or more of the programmed events.

The participation in the festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation open to: professional artists, architects and designers, filmmakers, associate groups and studios. The number of works you can submit is unlimited.

Starting from 2001, Luca Curci with International ArtExpo and It’s LIQUID Group, have curated and organized more than 120 contemporary art events, with the participation of about 4.000 international artists from all-over the world (UK, Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Portugal, The Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Greece, Germany, Turkey, Poland, USA, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Israel, UAE, Russia, Thailand, etc.) with an average of 45 artworks exhibited in each show (with a maximum of 108 artists involved in the great MORPHOS festival held in Venice during the Architecture Biennale 2014). The organization has international partnerships with art venues in Italy, Turkey, USA, Spain, Argentina, UK, Middle East, etc., and collaborates with museums, galleries and institutions such as MuMo – Museum Montanelli in Prague, Laura Haber Gallery in Buenos Aires, MIXER gallery in Istanbul and MECA art center in Almeria.

She has always lived in Bologna but considers herself a citizen of the world. Born in 1962, in 1990 she graduated in Architecture in Florence. He works as an architect. Photography and video artist, in January 2020 she exhibits for the first time unpublished works at Paratissima Bologna Art Fair NEEDS entitled "Incidenti", with which he made his debut for the first time in public. He has participated in several international Call for Entries and Contests with his own conceptual photography works. INTERVIEW: RAF TARNAWSKI

Raf Tarnawski was born 1953 in Wrocław, Poland. In 1976 he moved to Lund, Sweden, where he graduated from the School of Graphic Design and spent several years working with photography, graphics, illustration and advertising. In 2006 he returned back to Warsaw, Poland to study sculpture techniques at the at the Academy of Arts in Professor P. Gawron's workshop. Since then, he has been sculpting full-time and has exhibited his work regularly in multiple solo and group exhibitions. Raf creates the lightening rods to diffuse stress and an escape route from daily desolation. His sculptures are vessels that are filled with emotions and desires: the joy of encounter, heat of the setting sun, or yearning for what might be. He wants to bring order and understanding of basic values that comes from aesthetics and beauty. Read more


INTERVIEW: LAURA SANDRONI

Laura Sandroni was born in Varese in 1985. She approaches art and painting since she was a child, she carries on this passion over the years as a self-taught. His works are used for a strong use of color which she uses as an emotional and communicative vehicle. Over the years his artistic career has been enriched with lived experiences and personal growth that leads to expressing this new maturation and self-knowledge on canvas. His works are the primary channel with which he transmits the changes and emotional states that are part of life, sensations and feelings that feed the soul and body and that often happens in the form of female figures. He prefers acrylic that in many of his creations he uses with the only help of his hands and body, as an extension of his own person and expressive tool. Curious and attentive observer, she transmits what strikes her through painting and writing, showing a strong inclination to experiment and overcome her own internal limits. Read more
