Call for submissions: OXYGEN – FRAGMENTED CITIES+IDENTITIES
It’s LIQUID International Architecture, Video Art, Painting, Photography, Installation and Performing Art Festival
Extended deadline: October 30, 2016

It’s LIQUID Group is selecting all interesting photography, design/architecture projects, video-art, painting, installation and performance art works to include in the next event:

OXYGEN – FRAGMENTED CITIES+IDENTITIES, It’s LIQUID International Architecture, Video Art, Painting, Photography, Installation and Performing Art Festival, that will be hosted in Bogotá (Colombia), at Jorge Jurado Gallery, from November 19 to December 19, 2016.

Selection is open to design/architecture projects, video art, photography, painting, sculpture/installation, art performance, experimental dance. Artists, architects, designers, photographers, video makers and performers are invited to submit their works and projects by e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com

OXYGEN – FRAGMENTED CITIES+IDENTITIES is organized and curated by Arch. Luca Curci (director of It’s LIQUID Group).

OXYGEN – FRAGMENTED CITIES+IDENTITIES – Every human being lives relating himself to the built and unbuilt geographical contexts, the cities as result of human evolution. Every part of the city reflects the aestethic, cultural, political and philosophical values influenced by the production of architectural form, and shows fragmented pieces of urban life. Fragmented cities and identities can be combined as a big collage, to create the link between the man and the space,  the city and the ground to find new points of view, new ways of possible life in contemporary society. We invite artists and architects to share their ideas of cities and identities, in which they imagine to live.  

Extended deadline for applications is October 30, 2016 (11.59 PM of your local time)

To take part in the selection, send your works’ submissions with a CV/biography, some still images (for video-art), links of videos/films/performances and pictures of artworks via e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com

Extended deadline for applications is October 30, 2016 (11.59 PM of your local time)

Artists interested in taking part in our shows, are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments and their representers; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events. Artists are free to take part in one or more of the programmed events.

The number of works you can submit is unlimited. The participation in the festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation opens to: artists, architects, designers, photographers, video makers, performers, architects and designers, associate groups and studios.

Studio Libeskind – “Gare Thiers-Est”

Architecture | January 3, 2020

Studio Libeskind in collaboration with Fevrier Carre Architectes and landscape architect Jean Mus was selected to design the "Gare Thiers-Est" (East Thiers Station), as a result of an international competition sponsored by the City of Nice. The project involves the design of 20,000 square meters of high-end commercial space that will feature two levels of shops, a 120 room hotel and office spaces, a sculptural entry pavilion, a 200 seat auditorium below grade, and a restaurant offering an open roof terrace with views towards the sea on the top floor.
