The fifth edition of the world’s most important event on sustainability in fashion, Copenhagen Fashion Summit will take place on 11 May 2017 at Copenhagen Concert Hall under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. As a meeting platform for the fashion sector’s decision-makers, leading NGOs, experts, policy-makers and academia, Copenhagen Fashion Summit aims to forge common understanding and lead industry-wide commitments on the most critical issues facing the fashion industry and planet.

Leaders will gather to participate in timely discussions on how the fashion industry will shape the world beyond the next season. The Summit will present a curated programme of keynotes, discussions and breakout sessions, encouraging leading industry voices share their experiences and commitments and to inspire future action throughout the industry. More than a hundred top students participating in the Youth Fashion Summit and a hundred more academics participating in Educators Summit will gather to share a next-generation vision for the business of fashion.

The overarching theme of the 2017 Summit is commitment to change, setting the ambition high for participant outcomes and commitments. The Summit program will present tangible solutions, new knowledge and calls to action in hopes of mobilising the fashion industry for a more sustainable future. Summit participants will receive a toolbox designed to support initiatives around this years’ theme, and the progress of these commitments will be tracked and supported throughout the year.
