Foldin is a modular shelving unit comprised out of a framework and foldable shelves. Each shelf is made out of three plywood plates connected with a piece of felt. The framework can vary in sizes and hold from two to twenty shelf segments. It is easy to remove or replace them simply by folding the sides of the shelves.

Inesa Malafej and Arūnas Sukarevičius are a couple of designers from Lithuania that founded the Design Studio etc. etc.. For a few years they have been studying together in Vilnius Academy of Arts and afterwords they moved to Copenhagen to get their masters degree in furniture and spatial design there. Working together for a few years formed their relationship between each other as well as attitude to the designing process. There is still a lot to see and learn, so they try not to fix themselves to any particular philosophy, style or idea. The designers’ main goal is to enjoy creating new objects that are reasonable and are appreciated by people.

EMKO is the trade company to work with suppliers, designers and architects from Lithuania and customers from abroad. They started with Western Europe, however, at the moment they stepped way further these bounds. Their work can be described in three directions: the valuable ideas of designers they help to turn into products, those they successfully sell. For the customers from abroad they do find the suppliers or organize contract market projects in Lithuania. It works both ways. EMKO works with high-end collections, which value matches artwork.
