The View from The Shard presents Mr Doodle: Doodles with a View, a major new artistic takeover by internationally renowned contemporary artist Mr Doodle. This ambitious project brings his instantly recognisable visual language into one of London’s most iconic landmarks, creating a unique dialogue between contemporary art and the city skyline. The takeover transforms the viewing experience into an unexpected and engaging encounter with art, inviting visitors to discover Mr Doodle’s work from a completely new perspective.

Famed for his distinctive, playful doodle style, Mr Doodle has transformed London’s highest viewing gallery into an immersive artistic experience. His characteristic black-and-white drawings extend across the architecture and surrounding surfaces, creating a dynamic environment filled with characters, patterns and humorous details. The artist’s energetic approach turns the gallery into a constantly evolving visual landscape, where every corner offers something new to discover and where art becomes an integral part of the visitor experience.

Across Level 69, visitors can explore hand-drawn window illustrations, doodled floors, reimagined tabletops and unexpected creative interventions, all set against breathtaking panoramic views of the capital. The artworks interact directly with the gallery’s architecture and its extraordinary surroundings, creating a striking contrast between the detailed world of Mr Doodle and the vast urban landscape beyond the glass. From the smallest details to the larger interventions, the installation encourages visitors to move through the space, observe closely and engage with the work in an informal and playful way.

Offering a fresh perspective on one of London’s most iconic attractions, this vibrant takeover invites guests to slow down, look closer and experience Mr Doodle’s world high above the city skyline. “Doodles with a View” is included with every admission ticket, allowing visitors to enjoy the artistic takeover as part of their experience at The View from The Shard. Tickets are available from £10, making the exhibition accessible to a broad audience, while the installation offers an additional reason to visit one of London’s most celebrated viewpoints. The experience is open from Wednesday to Sunday and will remain on view until 14 October 2026, giving visitors the opportunity to discover Mr Doodle’s distinctive universe while enjoying spectacular views across the capital.
