DRAMA

DRAMA design brand

DRAMA, founded by the designer Adérito Soares, is a brand that enhances its emotional side, passionate and sensual, its character mysterious, dramatic and scenic, its conceptual and singular spirit. A brand that identifies itself with a daring public that privileges the originality and uniqueness, seeking an identity, which interprets the design, which cultivates the difference. Design is significance. Form is the result.

DRAMA

The theme of the collection “only… in white!” provides a particular perspective on the prevailing space in a house, the living room. The concept is confined to the interpretation of space as a whole, creating a harmony and connection between the objects that compose it. All the products of this collection have the same type of exterior finish, assuming the contrast between the natural tone of wood and the white color, with the latter having the function to enhance the purity of the form.

DRAMA

For the EGO sideboard, the object is thought as a multiplication of individual elements, grouped and arranged in no particular order, resulting in a free form. The object assumes the role of a sideboard, incorporating six drawers of different sizes and shapes. On the front plate emerge all the lines that originated the set, a mesh inscribed in three different levels, summing the final design and giving it a dynamic movement.

The finishing consists of applying white pigment and using “stripping” technique for reproducing a color gradient between white and natural tone of the wood, being a natural wax applied yet to feel the texture of wood. The inside of the drawers are coated with silver leaf, using a technique to simulate aging in purple tones. Only the interior finish of the drawers allows for customization through a range of options available. An egocentric and singular object, who lives in and for itself.
