A Fusion of Magic, Art and Philosophy
ENKI eyewear takes its inspiration from Enki, the god of wisdom and magic born in the ancient Sumerian and Babylonian cultures around 4000 bc. The brand’s Founder Jesse Walker, thanks to his passion for travelling, discovered the need to learn more about the local cultures joining spiritual and mystical experiences. By taking photos and portraits with his digital cameras, he learned how to direct and shoot. This is how the whole concept of the ENKI photoshoots began. As an organic process, Walker loved being out of the comfort zone, travelling to far off lands and connecting with people.
Referring to the brand’s philosophy, Jesse Walker states that we are here for a reason which is to seek our unique connection with something bigger than ourselves and to bring our own special gifts to the world. It’s about inspiring ourselves to think in such a beautiful way that we become genius. Through practise, we can develop a way of thinking that is so powerfully profound that we begin to consciously control our destiny through a positive way of thinking and living.

The mission of the brand is to awake people from the awareness of their divine nature and transcend it into the profound reality of magic. The overall message that ENKI strives to convey is that each person has within them genius. We are all-powerful, and we can develop this power to such a degree that we become liberated from the illusion of limitations. We can become aware that our inner world creates our outer world.
ENKI‘s products don’t just pop out of a machine. Around 80% of the process of making a pair is done by hand. From the first-hand sketch to the ling and polishing of the frames, installing the hinges and components, and then onto fitting the lenses. All ENKI‘s products comply with the European Union’s stringent regulation and carry the iconic CE logo (as per Medical De- vices Directive 93/42/EEC). ENKI uses hypoallergenic nickel-free stainless steel and titanium metals and are fitted with a CR-39 lens, which blocks 100% of the suns harsh UV rays.
