Favette
Favette turns the good old pyjama into an iconic garment to wear home. And not only.

Powerfully elegant, ironic, sustainable dolce vita. This is Favette, the Italian brand of luxury and sustainable Girls Boss pyjamas made in Rome with love, founded by a strong and ambitious woman on a mission. Life is made of dreams. Small or big. As teenagers, we dream a lot. But then, we grow up and become adults: unfortunately, most of us have to stop dreaming. Some, instead, never give up and are lucky enough to, finally and unexpectedly, one day, have the opportunity of achieving one or many of those dreams. This is exactly what happened last year to Ilaria F., a Roman borne and raised lawyer. After being happily busy for decades as a talented corporate lawyer, first in the USA and then in Italy, she did it. She turned her teenager dream of becoming a fashion designer into reality right in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

When all was dark and uncertain all over the world, she came up with the brilliant idea of founding Favette, her own brand of fancy, timeless and organic pyjamas ‘Made in Rome with love’. For her, life is all about sharing and caring. And, of course, about style too. As the daughter of a very stylish, feminine and feminist, slightly anarchist mum, she grew up as an independent woman who has always believed in the power of empowerment among women.

And now more than ever. Favette was born as a tribute to a growing community of hard working, passionate, art and beauty lovers, free spirited and activist women. For all the Favette Girls to be, Ilaria, together with designer Chiara Leto and their tiny and girly team, has created The Girls Boss Pyjama collection:  a kind of powerful blazer style pyjamas with funny names as ‘Fragile like a bomb’ her favourite one- ‘In me I trust’, The Dream Catcher’ to wear at home or outside, to feel freely beautiful, self-aware and fun. «Because confidence is a full-time job for women and, also and unfortunately, their Achilles’ heel, we thought to play with it and get over it »

Luxurious, but also sustainable, made with TENCEL™, a fiber obtained from cellulose in wood pulp and certificated FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council). A lustrous low-impact fabric with a softness similar to silk, breathable and hypoallergenic, incredibly pleasant and chic to wear and good to the environment. And, last but not least, all the collections are Made in Italy, and more precisely, in the heart of the Eternal City by a feminine collective of tailors. Besides the pyjamas (winter and summer collections) are available on the e-shop, the Favette Squad can also purchase matching sleep masks. The next steps for the brand extensions could be: in the home-wear market or already, as her pyjamas’ jacketslook like real blazers, why not, in the ready-to-wear market. Meanwhile pop-up stores and partnerships with multi-brand shops are about to be revealed.
