“I was always attracted to painting, although for a long time, I only collected the works of contemporary painters. A dear client of mine drew attention to the art school of the painter Zoltán Kalocsai, whom I joined as a student in the fall of 2017. He introduced me to the mysteries and techniques of painting. My paintings usually capture my experiences and moods. Since the fall of 2019, I have painted almost exclusively on black canvas. Painting on black canvas became my great love. I achieve great and special color and light effects on it, both in my classical realist portraits or landscapes, and in my modernist, perhaps impressive realism works.”

“She gave me the impression of a modest, reserved person at the first meeting, and as my student, I got to know her as a determined, open-minded creator who quickly and surely finds her own way. A mediator capable of conveying thoughts and feelings. She rearranges the pictorial elements of the scene, sometimes throwing a tantrum at the chronology. You fly and focus while painting…” – Zoltán Kalocsai.

“With the help of Kalocsai Zoltan art teacher, first I copied well-known art and then inspired by them I also created my own study paintings. This helped me to deepen my knowledge of classic painting techniques. In the meantime, I started to paint based on my imagination and my own photos. The copied arts are great for study and you can learn many techniques in this way. This is useful in the process of becoming an individual artist. Every decade has its own interesting big questions and thoughts. It is a great experience to study other historical ages but the most important is that we should be able to show our current age. Then we focus on the interesting and important occasions or the definitive thinking. My art teacher Kalocsai Zoltán introduced me to the technique of painting on black canvas and this became my favourite.”

“Nowadays I only paint on black canvas and I moved from acrylic painting to oil painting. I prefer the figurative abstract and the classic realism styles the most. I think I managed to create my own style in my figurative abstract paintings. Some thoughts about art and its manifestation. The art does not only reflect the world but it plays a role in influencing the mindset. This is why it is important, that the artist should make the art public. The artist must be visible. It can also be seen in the colors, the technique and the visual representation. I think it is very important that this is manifested. What is the artistic creation? This is a self-expression form, which creates ideas for the viewer or puts the ideas into a different angle, so this can become an experience for both the viewer and artist”.
