Nané Tuman’s abstract artworks successfully combine the rigor of geometric shapes with the freedom of interpretation, making them ensemble masterpieces of modern abstract art. Their dynamic compositions evoke both movement and balance, illustrating the harmonious interplay of forms. The light shadows and color contrast refine the overall aesthetic, adding depth and dimension to her abstract works.

In 2022, she received the Bronze Medal from the French Society of Arts, Sciences, and Literature. She is a member of the Maison des Artistes, the Sociétés des Arts, des Sciences et des Lettres, and the Taylor Foundation in France. Since 2018, she has lived and created her artistic works in Il-de-France. “I find that figurative expressionism, with its emphasis on subjective and emotional representation, provides a powerful platform for conveying the complexities of the human condition. I paint in oil, acrylic, or mixed media. In the past, I made also sculptures. However, due to the limitations of my living space I could not continue. One specific of my working style is that I often work on or rework my paintings for several months, even years, to achieve the desired aesthetic refinement that transmits my artistic philosophy so that each work tells a story or conveys intended emotion to the viewer”.

“I began my artistic journey at 15 when I created my first oil painting. During my studies in art schools and the following years my artistic style could be defined as realistic that with a time transitioned to expressionist style. Inspired by the complexity of life, nature, and human relationships, I aim to capture the essence of their interaction and translate it into tangible expressions.”

“Interested in the philosophical and emotional sides of my works, I often use a combination of abstract geometric and organic shapes to express a duality of contemporary society, both physical and virtual. I invite viewers to explore the power of the idea, immerse themselves in their interpretations, and embrace the beauty of visual form”.
