Feria Hábitat Valencia
September 17 – 20, 2019

The world of design and interiors will be gathering from 17th to 20th September at the biggest edition of Feria Hábitat Valencia of recent years. Habitat is Spain‘s leading fair for furniture, décor and lighting and takes place annually. The 2019 fair is set to deliver a record offering in terms of both quantity and quality. It will as a result be 40% larger overall, having added two extra halls in which to accommodate exhibitors, occupying 6 halls in all and more than 65,000 square metres of display space.

Visiting professionals will be looking at a fair that has grown significantly across all the sectors it comprises: In Design and the Cutting Edge, the offering is twice what it was last year as double the number of companies are exhibiting, including the foremost names in the world of design, most notably five National Design Prize winners that are exhibiting for the first time: Andreu World, Actiu, Metalarte, Akaba and Punt Mobles. This unique showcase will be in halls N3P1 and N3P2 on Feria Valencia‘s Level 3 and is particularly targeting the projects and contract sector; The Contemporary and Modern section is significantly bigger too, with 35% more exhibitors. A vast range of upholstery and bedroom and living room furniture for modern, very contemporary rooms. Three halls (N2P1, N2P3 and N2P4) filled with contemporary inspiration from Spain’s foremost manufacturers; Unfettered luxury and the most sophisticated room styles are to be found in hall N2P2 at Feria Valencia, where Haute Décor will be vaunting its flair through major exporters showing ranges geared to international projects and buyers from Eastern Europe and the Arab countries.

Alongside all of the above, Hábitat will also be offering an extensive programme of parallel events, one of the highlights of which is a unique retrospective exhibition of the work of architect Ramón Esteve. Another major item on this programme is the Salón nude, which will be showcasing around twenty of Spain‘s best young designers. The programme also includes a broad range of activities, exhibitions and showrooms taking place during the week in various locations in the city of Valencia itself. In line with its commitment to design, Feria Hábitat Valencia is involved in Valencia’s bid to be World Design Capital 2022.
