Fessura was born in Italy’s Marche region as a lifestyle brand that put design at the centre from day one. Essential, versatile footwear with a contemporary language quickly became its signature. But Fessura’s vision went beyond aesthetics with patented technologies like SLOT®, SOCKSHOES®, and CHANGE®. The brand merged Italian design with performance, comfort, and innovation, always prioritising substance over form.

The launch of the first CHANGE® model marked a breakthrough: a shoe made of just two elements, designed to reduce waste while allowing personalization. More than a product, it was a statement, imagining a future where sustainability, function, and beauty coexist. From the start, Fessura’s mission was clear: to create shoes that are beautiful to look at, but above all, comfortable to wear.

In 2020, Fessura felt the need to reconnect with its roots and reinterpret movement through sport. The rugged landscapes of the Marche mountains became a natural testing ground. Here, the first trail projects were born, not in labs, but on real paths, shaped by elevation, distance, and raw terrain. Models like Trail VTR, E15 and Trail SBL, E10 fused technical performance with unmistakable design.

Inspired by the Grande Anello dei Sibillini, Fessura developed the Ultratrail GSR: light, protective, and grippy, designed for demanding distances. Performance became a natural evolution, rooted in authentic movement and real needs. Shoes created to go beyond being just footwear.

After the trail came a road with Speed 01 for long, steady runs and the upcoming Race 01 and Race 03, one with a carbon plate, one without. Fessura is stepping firmly into competitive running. The vision remains unchanged: sport-focused shoes that never lose sight of style, comfort, and innovation, made to perform, but also to live in.

At ISPO Munich 2025, Fessura showcased its philosophy: Dual Mode, footwear where sport and fashion don’t alternate, they coexist. Technical yet refined. Ready for training, but perfect for city life. A new language for modern movement, where performance and personality live side by side.
