film festival carbunari 2005

Events | October 24, 2005 |

The International Experimental Film Festival Carbunari 2005 is a conquest dedicated exclusively to sustain and promote the experimental films. The festival’s prize is 1500 USD and is adjudged by a jury formed by specialists. We consider the experimental film is one of the most interesting expression form of the contemporary art. The Florean Museum’s experimental film collection is a reference point of the standing of the contemporary experimental film and is available to everyone to study the phenomenon. For this reason all the films will be introduced on the museum’s site: http://www.cmc.ro at a format which doesn’t permit a commercial exploitation, only the artistic one. The winner of the festival will enter in possession of the prize at the opening of the edition from 2006, where will be invited to take apart from the jury. The festival will be in Baia Mare in November 2005.
