GANTlights

GANTlights are timeless design lamps and room objects with an architectural character. Materials such as concrete, wood and precious metals are used to create unique luminaires for the design of individual interiors.

Stefan Gant, architect and product designer, originally comes from Bavaria and founded the GANTlights label in 2012 while still studying in Berlin. In his creations, he combines the cool austerity of concrete and marble with precious metals to create handmade products that fascinate with their minimalist shapes and high-contrast design.

The GANTlights products are designed in the premises of a former confectionery in Berlin-Rixdorf, which Stefan Gant has extensively converted into a light-flooded showroom and studio with storage rooms and workshops.

The versatile products from GANTlights are now at home all over the world. They are manufactured in Germany from the first component to the packaging. What Stefan Gant initially produced by hand in his own workshop quickly grew into a dense network of local craft businesses and manufacturers due to the high demand.

From the ceramist to the carpenter, everyone involved contributes to the creation of every single GANTlights product with a great deal of expertise and care. This keeps transportation routes short and protects the environment, and investments directly benefit local businesses in Berlin.
