The latest figures confirm the importance of the industry trade fair for the market. In the European context, Germany remains the market with the strongest sales for furniture producers, despite the events of the past 15 months. “By providing access to the important German furniture market and contacts with international buyers, imm cologne offers great business potential for furniture manufacturers from inside and outside Germany,” explains Jan Kurth, Managing Director of the Association of the German Furniture Industry (VDM).

The relevance of the location is also growing beyond Europe’s borders – in all directions, in fact. Experiencing the products, trend scouting as well as networking and ordering on-site at the event are essential for business and form the basis of a sustainable customer experience in the specialised trade,” says Christian Haeser, Managing Director of the Federal Association of the German Furniture, Kitchen and Furnishing Trade (BVDM). “The restart of imm cologne – augmented by innovative, digital formats – sends the right signal!”
