INAHO interior lighting by Tangent
INAHO is interior lighting inspired by golden ears of rice slowly swinging in the wind. The product, which has a 3 mm wide stem made of carbon fibre and a LED covered by a golden perforated tube attached to its end, creates light in dots, reminiscent of paddy rice.

Human-detection sensors are embedded in the base, and when a person passes by the INAHO begins to sway. Dozens of INAHO would make an attractive entrance or corridor, creating a landscape which responds to people.

By isolating the characteristics of an ear of rice and representing them with minimal elements, Tangent has made a product which combines novelty and wonderful nature-oriented familiarity.
