Inner Quill
Our small family studio in The Hague is where ideas come to life. This is where we design, test, and produce all our creations. We are passionate about technology, which is why 90% of our tools are made using 3D printing. Just a few years ago, achieving high-quality prints was nearly impossible, but today, technology allows us to bring innovation into the traditionally conservative art of calligraphy.

In addition to 3D printing, we value handcrafted work, which carries the warmth of human hands. That’s why we combine gypsum and 3D printing to create unique products. Our collection is small because each tool is carefully designed for both functionality and aesthetics. We create them to make the creative process easier and more inspiring. While developing our products, we wanted people to be able to leave them in their interiors without hiding them. That’s why we pay so much attention to design.

There are no analogs to our products on the market: some of them are unique, like the pen case or protective cap. Others have features that are one-of-a-kind, such as inkwells with adjustable angles. Our products invite interaction: they can be opened, tilted, and changed. This approach reflects our desire not only to share tools but also to create them together with the community. We constantly exchange ideas, which allows us to create something new and unique.

As for our plans: we would love for the calligraphy market to become more modern and match the level of technology. This would help bring more people to this art. Right now, we are developing an anatomically designed pen that will prevent calluses and reduce hand strain, making writing not only beautiful but also comfortable.
