Luca Curci – What is art for you?
Denise Klein & Lena Rykner-
For us, Art is an expression of the human soul.. a way of communication and transmission in a universal language. If an artistic creation can touch even only one person, it has fulfilled its reason for being.

LC – How did you get to your current artistic practice?
It is a process throughout our lives that we share and at the same time each one of us explores and develops individually.

LC – Where do you find your inspiration?
Everywhere. The inspiration emanates from the inner and outer world. Living our daily lives, keeping our senses open to the surroundings, anything can be a source of inspiration.

LC – How is your creative process?
It starts with an idea, images, or music that takes shape through movement. One movement leads to the next and so on and becomes a sequence. The creative process is not always linear and not every piece is created in the same way. Some parts are improvised and others are choreographed. Towards the end, the different elements are put together into a completed piece.

LC – What do you think about the concept of this exhibition? How did it inspire you?
We deeply relate to the concept of Anima Mundi as a connection between all living beings. It is wonderful that this exhibition is based on a spiritual concept that is rare and precious in a world where technology and materialism have become dominant. It was very inspiring and meaningful for us to be part of Anima Mundi – Consciousness as our performance “ALMA MATER” corresponds to the spirit of Anima Mundi as it is a dance about the bond of mother and child and a celebration of life, personal and universal at the same time.

ITSLIQUID GROUP is a great platform for artists from different art forms to present their art to a wide audience in prestigious venues, and to meet and connect with other international artists and the public from around the world.

LC – Did you enjoy cooperating with us?
It was wonderful to take part in your art event, we very much enjoyed it! We were happy to meet you Luca Curci and your amazing staff, we felt very welcome and there was great communication and atmosphere throughout the whole time.

I also had the opportunity to work on set photos for a feature film in the 1976s. Read more
