LC – What is your creative process like?
ESS
– Well, my creative process can be divided into several activities: making artworks for comissions, decorating home and common building spaces with architectural glass,or execution bathroom wellness area with mosaic installed surfaces. Preparing individual artworks for exhibitons. My special themes are in connection with our modern life in which the cars play a special role. That is why I made architectural stained glasses to VOLVO, FORD, mini Berlin. These stained glasses could have been visited in Budapest and in Berlin. Teaching mosaic in my Studio.

LC – Are your artworks focused on a specific theme?
ESS
– Yes. World is my theme. I curiously open my eyes and mind so as to collect all sensitive details of it. After that fact I melt them into different materials: glass, mosaic tiles, plexy or whatever.

LC – How is being an artist nowadays?
ESS
– I think the way of expressions of art changed a lot. Performances, media art, sreet art are in focus. World is in a high motion, artists follow it on their own ways.

LC – We were attracted by your last artistic production, has the artwork presented been created for the festival or as a part of preexisting works?
ESS
– As for me, I create continously. I can’t declare my messenger cat was created to the festival or to even an exhibition. My mentality is that things happen in a flow. After that somehow they find their own places in the universe.

LC – Do you agree with our vision of art and what do you think about the theme of the festival?
ESS
– Yes I can say, absolutely agree with your visions of art. The themes of the ITSLIQUID GROUP are always in large scale. The main questions of the mankind are summarised.

LC – Would you suggest a collaboration with us? What do you think about our services?
ESS
– I guess collaboration with ITSLIQUID group is not a question of suggestion, it happens fluidly. It is some kind of resonance between ITSLIQUID group and the artist.

LC – Did you enjoy cooperating with us?
ESS
– Yes. It is a type of together-breath in a special non-verbal way. Light athmosphere and flexible together working mixture always a good function for me.

LC – What are your suggestions about our services? Is there something more we can provide to artists?
ESS
– ITSLIQUID GROUP is not the question of suggestion. It is a must have feeling.

Arnaldo Pomodoro was born in Montefeltro in 1926, he spent his childhood and education in Pesaro. He lives and works in Milan since 1954. His works from the 1950s are high-reliefs where a unique and previously unknown sculptural 'writing' emerged, variously interpreted by the most important critics. In the early 1960s he turned to three-dimensional work and focused his research into the solid geometric form: spheres, discs, pyramids, cones, columns, cubes - all in burnished bronze - are lacerated, corroded, excavated in their depths, with the intention of destroying their perfection and discovering the mystery closed within.
