Luca Curci – What’s your background? What is the experience that has influenced your work the most?
Eklektik – From a very young age, I have always loved everything related to art and creation, I even wanted to make it my job but life decided otherwise. On March 1, 2017, I lost my mother to breast cancer as a result of that, I had the urge and the need to get back to painting, it helped me think about something else and drive away my sadness. Now art is a vital need, I could not do without it.

LC – Which subject are you working on?
– My subjects are quite varied, I paint all kinds of subjects but I would say that I have a preference for women.

LC – Which is the role the artist plays in society? And contemporary art?
– Today art is present almost everywhere, I remember that in my youth graffiti was forbidden and even considered harmful, today most cities have painted complete frescoes of graffiti on the walls, we have the street art festival near us in Grenoble, every year. We can also see that many cities use street art to camouflage electrical boxes for example. Art makes society and the world more beautiful.

LC – Where do you find your inspiration? What is the most challenging part about creating your artworks?
– Personally I find inspiration everywhere, everything inspires me, people, animals, plants, landscapes but also the moments of life that we go through every day, the experiences. For me, the most difficult part in creation is to be satisfied with the result compared to the one I had imagined in my head.

LC – We were attracted by your last artistic production, has the artwork presented been created for the exhibition or as a part of preexisting works?
– Although I like to design my works of art in relation to the exhibitions I take part in, this time my canvas “Fly” was not created for the exhibition “The Secret Garden” in Venice but it was perfect for this theme that I find just great!

LC – Do you think ITSLIQUID GROUP can represent an opportunity for artists?
– I am in total harmony with the spirit of ITSLIQUID GROUP and I strongly believe that it is a real opportunity for artists to present their work in such prestigious places and cities.

LC – Did you enjoy cooperating with us?
– I am really delighted to exhibit in Venice, it is a city that I love, I thank ITSLIQUIDGROUP for this opportunity as well as Luca Curci and all his team, who are really very professional, they are true enthusiasts no doubt about it.

LC – What do you think about ITSLIQUID Platform?
– Although I can’t get around, I can follow the exhibition via social networks with very frequent posts and it’s really great. I really hope to be able to collaborate again with ITSLIQUID GROUP, I hope next time in London with works created especially for the occasion.

Hey, I'm Franka, a creative soul with a diploma in design from Zagreb Faculty of Architecture. My journey has taken me through years of experience in design to becoming CEO and founder of Idearium Lab., a compact design studio where we take your ideas to reality. Beyond the world of design, I'm an art aficionado with a love for painting and music. My brush and my canvas are my expression tools where I let out all of my emotions, all in collection of swipes. Speaking of music, I'm also in love with music. Piano is my expression tool as well. With any spare time left, I always play piano. Read more
