Interview: Elso
Luca Curci talks with Elso during FUTURE LANDSCAPES – SENSES INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2023, at Medina Art Gallery in Rome.

I started collage a few years ago this discipline brings me a lot I like to deal with several subjects including everything that is egalitarian, humanist, and important in our society I find my inspiration in the street where I tear up posters that I recomposed in my workshop I really like pop art and different abstract styles that I developed a few years ago from my childhood memories to my adult realities, collage for me is more than an expression it is a key with which I decode the world around me. The most difficult part of my job is I would say collecting the posters and finding the messages I want to convey. I really like the concept of this exhibition which allows artists to go beyond their borders and exhibit abroad. I think for me that the principle of making your art travel is also a part of making it exist. The message of the collage which is presented in London comes from posters torn in the streets during the social protests in France. I was inspired by it to make a series of collages representing this troubled period. I loved using its liquids to promote my work and its liquids is a professional, reliable group that I will definitely work with I particularly appreciate the organization of this event which allows me to present my work in England.
