Interview: Grazia Danti
Luca Curci talks with Grazia Danti during VISIONS, third appointment of ANIMA MUNDI 2022 at Palazzo Bembo – Venice Grand Canal.
She was born in 1961 in Florence where she currently lives and works. She is an artist who has been highlighted for her artistic affinities since high school. She cultivates an aptitude for art, which over time leads her to be the protagonist of her with her exhibitions of her in important Italian and foreign galleries.
Luca Curci – Which subject are you working on?
Grazia Danti – The woman in social life.
LC – How did you get to your current artistic practice?
GD – With a long introspective work.
LC – Which is the role the artist plays in society? And contemporary art?
GD – The artist plays the role of denunciation by involving the community with his works.
LC – Where do you find your inspiration?
GD – Everywhere: in everyday life.
LC – What is the most challenging part about creating your artworks?
GD – Contextualize my thoughts in the works.
LC – In which way the artwork presented in our exhibition is connected with the exhibition’s theme?
GD – On the theme of the essence of man and woman.
