«Art changes the world and enriches life. Art can make the world happy

Kayano Ushiyama is a Japanese painter whose works have been extensively exhibited nationally, as well as in France, N.Y., U.K. and Italy. Her brightly colored pieces exude happiness and warmth, aligning with her goal to bring happiness to the world through her art. Ushiyama’s compositions are created using acrylics, gouache, pastels, transparent watercolors, and other materials, which she digitizes then prints, adding more acrylics and gouache.

LUCA CURCI – What’s your background? What is the experience that has influenced your work the most?
KAYANO USHIYAMA
– It was my late father. His father (my grandfather) was a painter.

LC – Which subject are you working on?
KU
– I want to spread happiness to the world through my work.

LC – Where do you find your inspiration?
KU
– We are inspired by the energy we receive from nature and the particles and sparkles of the universe.

LC – Which art themes do you pursue? What is your preferred subject, if there is any?
KU
– It’s about spreading happiness through our work.

LC – How is being an artist nowadays?
KU
– Through social networking, we have received contract offers from international galleries and awards from international art magazines.

LC – Do you agree with our vision of art and what do you think about the theme of the festival?
KU
– Yes, I think it’s great.

LC – We were attracted by your last artistic production, has the artwork presented been created for the festival or as a part of preexisting works?
KU
– Yes, we made it for the exhibition.

KU
– I think it’s great.

LC – Would you suggest a collaboration with us? What do you think about our services?
KU
– It would be great if you could send us some images of the exhibition.

– Yes, I think.
