Luca Curci – What is art for you?
María del Rosario Kong Ramírez – It is to translate my inspirations into artistic works and enjoy all the beauty of Creation on planet earth.
LC – How did you get to your current artistic practice?
MDRK – When I was little I liked to build various miniature objects, and also make portraits of many famous actresses. When I finished studying, I chose to take courses related to integral design at the National School of Fine Arts, In the first years, I used many textures, using all kinds of materials and objects. As a reference, my grandfather came from China to Perú, also my father is a professional photographer, and I feel that all this has contributed to the construction of my artistic personal work.

LC – Did your style change over the years? In which way?
MDRK – During the last time, I have made many, above all, watercolours and inks on paper. I also have done ceramics and experimental engraving. I have used my free time to practice various disciplines related to artistic expression. I think, in the beginning, I was influenced by Masters who inspired me, such as Kandinsky, as well as the great European avant-gardes. About my style, I think it hasn’t changed much significantly, but it may have been strengthened in the way. Although I had a traditional academic background, I think, at this moment, I feel any trend in abstractionism. Now, I am currently incorporating, the use of new technologies adapted to my personal design style.
LC – Which art themes do you pursue? What is your preferred subject, if there is any?
MDRK – The themes can be very diverse in my works. During this time, I have had a special interest in addressing philosophy, science, and others.

LC – How do you feel when you see your work completed? MDRK – Sometimes I feel Relief, for having solved things that disturbed me, some others very happy. But I think art is wonderful.
LC – What do you think about the concept of this exhibition? How did it inspire you?
MDRK – The contemporary and current concept is what most encouraged me to participate, so for some reason, it connected with the vision that I had about my work.
LC – What is the message linked to the artwork you have shown in this event? How is it connected to the theme of the entire exhibition?
MDRK – I think, we are all constantly evolving. For this reason, in this work, I have wanted to represent imaginaries’ ethereal beings. I am inspired by oriental religion, which speaks about 10,000 beings, and about human existence.

LC – Would you suggest a collaboration with us? What do you think about our services?

LC – What is your idea about ITSLIQUID GROUP?
