Luca Curci – What is art for you?
Renate Merzinger-Pleban –
Preoccupation with art, both active and passive: means producing works of art as well as perceiving works of art made by other artists. That is “food” for my soul.

LC – What is the most challenging part about creating your artworks?
RMP –
It is capturing motives artistically by a minimum of colours, lines, strokes without losing its essentials, moreover: making it clearer.

LC – Did your style change over the years? In which way?
RMP –
Yes, it changed towards abstracting, but not (yet) abstraction.

LC – How do you feel when you see your work completed?
RMP –
Sometimes I feel satisfied for the moment, sometimes not, but these views may change after some time.

LC – What is the message linked to the artworks you have shown in this event? How is it connected to the theme of the entire exhibition?
RMP –
I don’t have an explicit message, but if my work is understood as such it is okay. The clever wording ITSLIQUID allows many valid interpretations – everyone may find his/her own – art is free.

LC – What do you think about the concept of this exhibition? How did it inspire you?
RMP –
Without body, we can neither ask nor answer. Art is a kind of “language”.

LC – What do you think about ITSLIQUID Platform?
RMP –
This is my first time on this platform, it offers interesting opportunities for artists.

LC – What do you think about the organization of our event?
RMP –
I trust the organization, but I could not be present at the event.

LC – Would you suggest a collaboration with us? What do you think about our services?
RMP –
Yes, if my experiences remain positive. The ITSLIQUID Group offers services and cares about its customers.
