Luca Curci talks with artist Tiffany Pilon during LIQUID ROOMS – THE LABYRINTH exhibition in Venice.

Luca Curci – Your work has just been exhibited during LIQUID ROOMS – THE LABYRINTH exhibition in Venice: can you talk about your personal experience in Venice with International ArtExpo? How was your experience with the organization, the staff, the venue and all the artists involved?

Tiffany Pilon – For Distorted Paintings, this exhibition was a discovery filled of many new friendships in order to build a new future!

L. C. – Which was the moment you preferred most during the two openings?

T. P. – According to our perception; All the concepts of the artists was incredible.

L. C. – Can you talk about the artwork you presented in Venice? How is it linked with the festival’s theme?

T. P. – We showed two paintings with integrated sculptures; Both of these artworks represented freedom of spirit. When you are in a labyrinth, you want to find the way to reach the exit, to find liberty.

L. C. – What are you currently working on?

T. P. – Actually, we are working on some artistic projets; Fashion – Visual Arts – Theater and music.

L. C. – What is art for you?

T. P. – Art is a way to express ourselves, To be completely you and free in this world.

L. C. – What do you think about International ArtExpo organization?

T. P. – It’s a nice opportunity for artists to showcase their arts and meet interesting people in beautiful venues.

L. C. -Do you think International ArtExpo organization can represent an opportunity for artists?

T. P. – Obviously. We keep in touch for anything, let us know for any of your projects!

After having finished her studies in the UK, Gail decided to return to Hong Kong, and had recently graduated from her B.F.A photography degree in Savannah College of Art and Design, Hong Kong. She was fortunate enough to have had the chance to work with local studios and art centers, and had her work featured in magazines and online platforms. Multifaceted Artist, born from Classical Dance, Arianna Ilardi studied with Masters S. Brioschi and P. Virtanen, then graduating as a contemporary dancer at the Compagnia ErsiliaDanza (VR). At eighteen years old she began working as a dancer in Liberovici 'Macbeth Remix' with the costumes by the Oscar winner M. Canonero. By pure chance, she was noticed by the photographer Stefano Goldberg, with whom she establishes a very strong partnership lasting until his untimely death (2020). She has worked in the most important Italian theaters (Teatro Regio di Torino, Teatro Comunale di Bologna,Teatro Alighieri di Ravenna, Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova, Teatro Comunale di Firenze, Arteven, Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari etc.) and she has been chosen by Directors such as Zeffirelli, Pizzi, Cobelli, Saura, De Ana, etc. and as an added dancer with the Ballet de Lorraine. FEATURED DESIGNER: Lee Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen was born in London on March 17th 1969, the youngest of six children. He left school at the age of 16 and was offered an apprenticeship at the traditional Savile Row tailors Anderson and Sheppard and then at neighbouring Gieves and Hawkes, both masters in the technical construction of clothing. From there he moved to the theatrical costumiers Angels and Bermans where he mastered 6 methods of pattern cutting from the melodramatic 16th Century to the razor sharp tailoring which has become a McQueen signature.
