Interview: Yi-Chiao Chen
Luca Curci talks with Yi-Chiao Chen during THE SKIN PROJECT, at THE LINE Contemporary Art Space

Yichiao Chen explores the changes of natural elements and energy. The invisible energy comes from the source and is close to eternity. It is extremely calm and without traces. It cannot be accurately described in all human words. Therefore, She tries to present it on the easel painting and dynamic art form with abstraction and impression. For her, as in the life of an artist, art has only been self-burning. The inner of her artist life is also in a spiral state, and there is no end in sight. She explores and depicts the spirit in the distance and creativity in the reach of art. In her opinion, it seems that only the spirit itself is art. Her works explore the ideas behind the relationship with human and nature aspects of consciousness. She thinks energy which is the presence, and everything is circulation. It is a mysterious power to connect her life and influence her mind.
