Interview: Zsuzsanna Kron
Luca Curci talks with Zsuzsanna Kron during CANVAS INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2022, at Palazzo Bembo – Venice Grand Canal.
As far back as I can remember the drawing has always been there in my life. But among my youthful impressions, it’s hard to decide which way I was really born. After that, I became a teacher of chemistry -biology. But I couldn’t give up painting and I thought it would happen in my life. Thanks to my family today I do what I really love. I express my inner world in pictures. One better creative period is a great reassurance. I have participated in many art projects. The artist’s community is a great motivating force for us. I traveled a lot, learned from good masters, and got to know the different styles to form my own world. Thanks to that today I can do what I like best.

Luca Curci – What is art for you?
Zsuzsanna Kron – For me, art is a world in the world. I build from this world, here I get the strength day by day. This force is nothing but vision, inclusion, and further thinking. Furthermore, Art is Creativity as my attitude toward things.
LC – Which subject are you working on?
ZK – I drew a lot in my early years. I became more and more immersed in landscape painting. I also tried tó use different techniques. Probably a strong attraction to nature, wonderful moments of mysticism and loneliness enchanted. But there are different cycles. I am currently interested in human representations. Today I loved the simplified forms, I leave out the details, Mostly I focus on the subject, it can be an expression of a human body, a movement, or a thought. We live in a world of digital media and images. To slow down, to be in harmony, to awaken thoughts this is my goal; my tool&the place of the challenge is the CANVAS itself.

LC – Which is the role the artist plays in society? And contemporary art?
ZK – The artwork/creation is usually a solitary genre. However, the creation can speak to a lot of people. And that is my goal. The term, whether abstract or figurative, is not dominant. We must strive for quality. Quality = truth.
LC – How is being an artist nowadays?
ZK – Today, the life of an artist is incomparably simpler than its predecessors. In fact, we live in a world of images. The information are colored with pictures and decorations. This is good! However, there is a big negative effect: this sometimes makes inflation the images devalued and their quality deteriorates. The role of the artist is to stop this process. Quality, sophistication!

LC – What is the most challenging part about creating your art ?
ZK – The more you get into the work or series, the more challenges You find. So the working process is the source itself that gives you new ideas.
LC – Do you agree with our vision of art and what do you think about the theme of the exhibition?
ZK – As I mentioned on the Internet we find a wide variety of art recommendations. Italy is the cradle of the Great arts. I am glad that you apply this and inspire the artists to the work on a different theme. The Canvas theme is great because for a painter the canvas is the Focus itself, the stage to say your thoughts – the picture must explode here!
LC – In which way the artwork presented in our exhibition is connected with their exhibitions theme?
ZK – My artwork represents contemporary fine art. The woman who has a business in the world is determined and she is one of many who sets out. By my way of decoration, simplicity, and lines I tried to convince the spectators about my inner imageʼs world. There are many temptations and doubtful moments, my goal is to depict these on an 80-70 cm canvas. That was the challenge for me.

LC – What do you think about the organization of our event?
ZK – Unfortunately I could not attend the opening, but I looked at the exhibition in Venice and I was very impressed by the valuable artworks from different countries which would have an essential influence on the stream of contemporary art. Iʼ’m very happy to have been among the exhibiting artists. The organization, execution, and networking was excellent with a really good team in the background. I am happy to recommend this opportunity to my artistic colleagues. I hope to be able to join this team in the future.
LC – Would you suggest a collaboration with us? What do you think about our services?
ZK – Overall, I am very grateful to have been able to work with this curatorial company. They organized the shipment of pictures for the exhibition, the advertisement, even the accommodation in Venice, etc. It was really a high-class service!
LC – Do you think ITSLIQUID GROUP can represent an opportunity for artists?
