To all ITSLIQUID friends, partners and supporters,

in an effort to help containing the spread of COVID-19 and following the latest advice from the governments, we have decided to close all our galleries in Venice and in London.

We make this decision to prioritise the welfare of our visitors, of our staff, of our talented artists who, now more than ever, are facing with us something that has never happened before. During this challenging time, to brighten your days and to make art accessible to all, we will keep working sharing contents of art, architecture, fashion and design, through our social media and through our website, to guarantee the success of the current exhibitions and to promote at our best the artists who are supporting us regardless.

Whilst we wait for the recommendations of local and global health authorities to guide our actions, we won’t stop: we will guarantee your participation to our future exhibitions, rescheduling and postponing the events’ dates, if necessary. Together we will win this challenge.

We will continue planning new exhibitions, international contests, competitions, and we will wait for you online to share your stories, your future projects, your artworks. For now, the priority is the well-being of our community and we believe you will support us patiently, bravely, respectfully.

We will remain at your disposal to answer all your questions and to provide support by email info@itsliquid.com

We look forward to welcoming you very soon. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay strong.

Yours sincerely,
Arch. Luca Curci

BOCHNER BOETTI FONTANA

Curated by Mel Bochner in collaboration with Magazzino Italian Art, This Special Exhibition Examines Parallel Artistic Movements in the 1960s and 1970s in the U.S. and Italy through the artwork of Bochner, Alighiero Boetti, and Lucio Fontana. Cold Spring, NY – August 24, 2020 – This fall, Magazzino Italian Art opens a special exhibition examining the formal, conceptual, and procedural affinities in the work of Mel Bochner, Alighiero Boetti, and Lucio Fontana. Curated by Bochner in collaboration with Magazzino, the exhibition marks the first presentation to consider the American artist’s extensive, yet overlooked, engagement with the practices of Fontana and Boetti, as well as with Italian art at large. Bochner Boetti Fontana offers, through the artist’s perspective, a number of resonances between his work and that of the Italian and Italian-Argentine artists: an exploration of systems, language, and materials; and a sense of irony and humor, often and especially shared by Arte Povera and Conceptualism, as all these works opened the work of art onto the space of display.
