ITSLIQUID International Contest 7th Edition 2020 – Winners

ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the WINNERS of the ITSLIQUID International Contest – 7th Edition 2020. The contest is born to promote contemporary art, photography, architecture, design and fashion through all ITSLIQUID Platform sharing tools (press release, mailing list with more than 250.000 subscribers, social media networks, international contemporary art, architecture and design events and exhibitions). The contest, with a free theme, was divided into ten categories: painting, photography, video-art, sculpture and installation, performing art, architecture, product design, fashion design, illustration and drawing, computer graphic.

The international Jury, composed by prestigious personalities of the contemporary art, architecture, design and fashion scenes, of ITSLIQUID International Contest – 7th Edition 2020 has selected 11 winners and 8 honourable mentions, among the hundreds of submissions, following the criteria of quality of the works, originality and uniqueness.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Sze currently lives and works in New York. In 1999, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain offered her a large solo show. Sarah Sze represented the United States at the Venice Biennale in 2013 and many of her works are held in the collections of prestigious institutions such as The Museum of Modern Art and The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, as well as The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Born from the desire of Michela Trento, designer of the brand and Gianluca Ricci to reinterpret objects from distant eras and countries: from the typical forms of the Victorian age to the symbolism of flowers that distinguishes Japanese culture. After a research that lasted over a year, the first collection was created in 2019: the material we have decide to use is finely worked brass in order to give each piece its own uniqueness.
