JACOB BIRGE

Jacob Birge Vision is a forward thinking fashion brand, specializing in the high-end, modern, womenswear and accessories. What makes the brand innovative is the fact, that it combines not only fashion, but also multidiscipline media such as sound design, visual installations and fashion films  and an unconventional use of hi-tech fabrics and materials, in order to present a clear and personal vision. We think about the women and her needs in an ULTRAMODERN way.

“We exist to attract conscious, open-minded, brave customers. Introducing technology, new silhouettes and following our beliefs we want to present a complete vision of a modern human. We would like to give women an opportunity to learn what clothing and styles fit best with their unique personalities. Our services aim to  fulfil expectations of our customers and educate women about Jacob Birge Vision design.” As a label focused on technology, Jacob Birge Vision brought special and unique show for A/W 2013 London Fashion Week. The collection was presented as a digital projection with a live music performance. After the catwalk, guests were invited to continue to the showroom where they had a chance to see clothes from the collection in a more traditional setting.

The collection refers to humans and the changes that occur during their lifetime. Everything in the nature has its ups and downs causing us to appear to be in a state of equilibrium if viewed at from a distance. Horizontal versus vertical, hard versus soft, light versus heavy, long versus short; these elements balance a woman’s look, creating a contemporary silhouette . As a design method we have decided to divide a woman’ s body with a horizontal and vertical lines – they defined the proportions and position of  colour panels within the garments. The solidity of the tailoring and craftsmanship combined with the softness and lightness of the materials give the collection a sense of equilibrium. Black, dark red and dark blue reflect the colour palette of the collection and accessories.
