KAFT is a design brand that’s founded on two values: creativity and care. It appeals to people who are in pursuit of beauty: to art-lovers whose preferences are not shaped by popular culture. By this time, we have received orders from 84 different countries. Our goal is to become a recognized brand all over the world. That’s why our website is multilingual since day one. We are planning to provide services in different languages in the near future.
Our trademark is illustrative t-shirts. Each design is created based on a story. Stories take their place on a bookmark that comes with the product. Our followers have a bond with Kaft t-shirts, it has a special meaning for them. Kaft bags with the X figure have become an iconic product in Istanbul with their original design and practical use. We also have products to combine with our t-shirts such as sweatshirts, hoodies, and the mid-season jacket that joined us in 2021. We have separate shorts for men and women. In 2021, trousers will join us. We are selling also the Beanie, a product for winter with 4 different models and colors. Socks have joined us as colorful, lively items that can be combined and also suit our brand’s image. We don’t produce thousands of different models of fabrics in different colors every year. At first, we decided on 10 colors only and made all t-shirts with these 10 colors. With new products, this number increased to 15 and stopped there. We’ve been using the same color palette for years.
At Kaft we don’t do something just to make it done, we do it because it has a meaning and a story. We don’t get into things that we can’t see a soul inside. Moreover, instead of copying, we focus on new ideas. We seek designs that cannot be found easily. We also decided to stay away from the populist minds that have surrounded the whole world. Furthermore, we really care that designs should be in harmony in terms of color, form, and placement which please the eyes. Details are important for us. We try to elaborate ideas and make them real as carefully as we can. Another important point to underline is that our designs are not for any subculture, age group, gender, religion, race, or nationality. We see ourselves as citizens of the world and design for everyone whose need is to “see valuable works”.
One of our biggest dreams is to transfer all the knowledge and experience we have got to people. Just as we love to tell our own stories, we will create a campus to allow people to do so in their own way. So, what’s going to be in this place?
