Copenhagen, Denmark – LAWA DESIGN is an independent design studio that merges functionality with artistic expression, all while maintaining a playful spirit. Founded by architects Allen Shakir and Ewa Bryzek, LAWA DESIGN seamlessly blends the poetic with the practical. From their Copenhagen-based studio, they bring together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design language to produce objects that not only serve a functional purpose but also tell compelling stories.

The Gradient Watch is a minimalist analog timepiece that transforms time into a shifting visual experience. Featuring two overlapping gradients-one for hours, one for minutes-it creates dynamic, ever-changing patterns that make each moment unique. Available in five color options-Black, Navy Blue, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold-the watch also features a tool-free interchangeable strap, offering flexibility in both style and function.

Taking inspiration from the sundial, the Delta Clock tells time through the interaction of light and shadow. Its folded surface casts evolving shadow patterns throughout the day, adding a sculptural element to the simple act of timekeeping. Silent and easy to wall-mount, the Delta Clock can also be paired with the Delta Stand. It is offered in four finishes: Natural Oak, Smoked Oak, Matte Black, and Matte White.

The Twist Shelf is a smart 2-in-1 design that functions as both a shelf and a magnetic board, crafted from solid oak. A simple twist unites these two elements into a single, elegant piece. Ideal for kitchens-where the magnetic board can act as a knife strip and the shelf holds spices-or for entryways as a key holder with space for accessories. Available finishes include Natural Oak, Smoked Oak, and Black Oiled Oak.

A sculptural lighting piece with architectural integrity, the Arc Pendant provides soft illumination in two directions-upwards and downwards-bathing both the room and ceiling in a warm glow. The design prevents glare at eye level while enhancing ambience. Assembled from 28 individual components without the use of screws or glue, the Arc Pendant is inspired by self-supporting architectural structures. It comes fully assembled and is available in three finishes: White, Plywood, and Black Plywood.
