Loes Vrij is an Amsterdam based fashion designer. In 2012, after having worked as a lawyer for many years, she decided to take her lifelong passion for fashion to a more professional level by launching her first women’s bags collection. The label is best characterized by a mix of quirky cool and elegance, pared with strong colors and genuine craftmanship. Loes Vrij bags stand out by their original and distinctive designs and the use of materials of exceptional quality.

The first women’s bags collection named ‘Glorious Gun’ is a particular blend of rock – chic elegance. The gun is a true stunner, a timeless piece and the perfect little day and evening carryall for a lady on the go. Another characteristic is it’s uniqueness on the inside. After months of product development, the Glorious Gun is born with a perfect blend of practical design and optical luxury. The different compartments – a cell-phone pocket, small mirror, multiple card pockets with cover flap and two zipped pockets- ensure nothing falls out while wearing the Gun and allows you to find whatever you need in a split second. Every piece is hand crafted in Italy, made of florentine vachetta, vitello and stingray and comes in several eyestriking colors. The glorious gun – collection will be launched for Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 and has already found its way to some of the finest high end stores throughout Europe where they will be available from October 2012.

Loes Vrij was included in the fresh faces section of the prestigious Tranoi tradeshow in Paris where her Spring/Summer – collection 2013 was presented from 28th September – October 1st at the ‘carrousel du louvre’, 99 Rue de Rivoli, Paris. Loes Vrij’s signature is based on a vision of creating high-end fashion whilst maintaining socially and environmentally high standards in relation to the use of materials and production methods. The fabrics and leather used in her designs are preferably produced in a sustainable way.
