“I wanted to bring the entire sky in one hand, protect me with the sun”
“Luce” is a series of jewelry designed on the concept of specularity of the visible. A ring that recalls the shape of the human eye, an elegant oval-volume, balanced, devoid of all superfluous decoration. It catches the rays of light and fills its mirrored surface that reflects the details, revealing the world around.
“Luce” is the beauty, If there is beauty around, it is the reminder of the truth that surrounds us, sobering reflection. The magic of the mirror gives the pleasure of wearing the grace close to us: a face, the corner of a room, a small lawn on which we rest.
“Luce” is who is in front of us and we are light when looking in the mirror. It attracts the gaze of the magpie, sending away prying eyes with his reflections. It sends images to who is far away. Pure form, as an abstract desire, light as air, an idea, a jewel.
