Welcome to LZF
Born among friends in Valencia, on the shores of the Mediterranean, LZF has evolved from a small artisan workshop into a global design reference, with more than 50 national and international awards, including the National Design Award and National Craftsmanship Award, the only Spanish company to have received both distinctions.
At its core, LZF unites natural materials with human creativity. Using carefully selected FSC®-certified wood veneers, treated with its patented Timberlite™ system, LZF transforms fragile sheets of wood into flexible, translucent, expressive forms. Its designs embody the brand’s biophilic philosophy, bringing nature, warmth, and emotional connection into contemporary living spaces.
Collaboration and craftsmanship define the LZF process. The brand works closely with designers, artists, master craftsmen, architects, and thinkers from around the world. Within the dynamic LZF Lab, this creative dialogue generates iconic collections such as KOI, Funny Farm, Life Size, Candela, and the new Outdoor Collection. At every stage, sustainability is central. LZF’s commitment to eco-design, circular processes, and the promotion of local craftsmanship ensures that each lamp respects both material and maker. Packaging is entirely biodegradable, and resources are managed to promote responsible consumption and continuous improvement.

LZF’s lamps illuminate prestigious spaces around the world, from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, Facebook in California, BNP Paribas in Amsterdam, and José Andrés’ celebrated restaurants in the U.S. and Little Spain Market in New York. In Spain, LZF lamps can be found in the headquarters of Banco Santander, NH Hotels, Orange, CaixaBank, Vodafone, Coca-Cola, and Paradores Nacionales.

LZF’s distinctive voice is also expressed through its award-winning communication campaigns, including “Telling Tales”, “High Fidelity”, and “Light & Nature”, curated by Mariví Calvo. These campaigns reinforce the idea that light is not just functional, but an art form, one that shapes atmospheres and connects people and spaces.
To support its strong international growth, LZF established its U.S. subsidiary Import & Ent in 2014, enabling direct relationships with the American market and ensuring faithful representation of its brand values and image abroad.

Today, LZF remains rooted in craftsmanship, driven by innovation, and inspired by collaboration, creating luminaires that are not simply products, but living stories of light, wood, and life.
