Makati Commerce Tower
Location: Manila, Philippines
Status: In Progress

Vertical emphasis through the façade’s vivid vertical rhythm, creates a new “Green” landmark for Makati financial district. Rising almost 170 metres above the city, Woods Bagot’s vision for Makati Commerce Tower will create a strong vertical presence and a prominent new addition to Manila’s skyline. Inspired by patterns and rhythms associated with coding, digital technology and data processing, the overall design concept masterfully balances texture and shadow to create a striking façade minimising solar heat loading throughout the year.
