ONE MORE: the brand

ONE MORE is a trailblazing ski and outdoor apparel label. Inspired by Italian beauty and lifestyle, our creative sportswear is a pinnacle of performance, tech and contemporary design. ONE MORE was founded in South Tyrol, Italy in 2018. As the epicentre of the Dolomites, our home turf calls for a life lived outdoors, practicing winter sports and spending time savouring the chills and thrills of a natural adventure park. The brand is backed by an attachment to its place of origin; by a sense of environmental responsibility; and by a twenty-year experience in the fashion and skiwear industry. The mission is to utilise unusual materials and advanced technology to produce functional and wearable avant garde sportswear.

Quality assurance and experimentation constitute the backbone of ONE MORE‘s collections. Sustainability comes into the picture through the repurposing of recycled and recyclable textile; all within the constraints imposed by the specifics of technical garments and their required standards of performance. To this end, ONE MORE relies on paddings derived from recycled plastic bottles and innovative weaves. One of these is ECONYL®, a recycled nylon thread with the same peculiarities of virgin-sourced alternatives, but with the added advantage that it can be re-created, re-modelled and re-fitted ad infinitum. ONE MORE’s inquisitive approach to fashion marries high tech with high touch. Renouncing the use of fur and feather to the advantage of synthetic and recycled materials is our pledge to sustainability. This is why we also collaborate with local artisan laboratories, who put the Made in Italy stamp onto all their creations. With their help, technical advancement and aesthetic appeal keep going hand in hand.

Every piece in the collection stands out for its contemporary style, the edginess of its shapes and its perfect fit. This applies to street – and urban-wear – dressing off-duty outdoor living with vibrant athleisure pieces – as well as to the race models – designed for skiing schools and professional mountaineers wishing or needing to personalise their gear. ONE MORE approaches fashion with an against-the-grain mentality. Thinking creatively and functionally, we take sportswear well beyond the slopes. And we do so because we go by the following motto: disruptive approach, constructive method.

APPLESKIN: the future of sportswear is (in) an apple

ONE MORE heavily relies on unconventional materials. Among these, AppleSkin is one of a kind. Derived from the production wastes of the South Tyrolean apple industry, AppleSkin represents a singular alternative to animal leather. An innovative material that grants unexpected possibilities in terms of quality and performance, it fits in the circular economy that ONE MORE so convincingly espouses and promotes. 100% vegan, AppleSkin is the most natural faux leather alternative currently on the market that is also UV-proof and proudly stands the wear and tear test.

ONE MORE is the first Italian company to embrace AppleSkin for sportswear. In combination with highly performing textiles, this innovative material delivers technical, creative and aesthetic excellence. AppleSkin has even been patented by Frumat, a Bolzano/Bozen-based company conducting and supporting research on the uses of the most typical South Tyrolean fruit. Precisely for this very patent, Frumat was the recipient of several accolades, among which the Technology & Innovation Award at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards in 2018.

2020-2021 COLLECTION

The new 2020-2021 women’s and men’s collections renovate ONE MORE‘s commitment to the experimental development of heat-tech and other innovative materials, at once performing, modern and versatile. ONE MORE’s collection is a sum of creative élan, fashionable flair and technical precision; an ensemble of sustainable, functional and wearable clothes. Smart accoutrements and subtle details surprise for their practical and aesthetic versatility, thickening the personality of the gear beyond mere style. Garments come alive on the inside and the outside through fine lining and membranes, personalised additions, logoed strips or unusual printed lining nets.

For the 2020-2021 season, intelligent gear takes centre stage. Rich in details and above all, highly adaptable, pieces are conceived to be mixed, matched and paired following the wearer’s taste, the intended use and the weather conditions. For example, we created a woman’s gilet that turns into a top and a coat that can be taken apart to obtain a separate jacket and a cocoon scarf. A sharp focus on shapes and details together with the use of experimental materials like AppleSkin define ONE MORE‘s identity as a smart sports label, viable for every moment of winter life.

Born for the slope, the collection easily lives a second streetwear life. The inspiration behind the pieces’ linear and original design is markedly urban. The mountain, although central to the brand, is one of the many possible backdrops to the collection. Symbols of the brand’s morphing capacity are the multi-format/multi-use trousers and the technical hoodies. Notable is also the TRE UNO UNO raincoat. An example of Italian craftsmanship, the raincoat is a showcase of avant garde technology, specifically laser cutting, gluing, ultrasound stitching that flattens the garment’s thickness and thermo-welded seaming ensuring garments to become completely waterproof. With its discreet yet elegant fit, the raincoat adapts to nature and the city regardless. The collection is defined by its loud and strong colours. Black and white dominate, both when used in tone-on-tone ensembles and when paired with bright and dark accessories. Pieces are enriched by antique gold details and camouflaged, glitched and pixelated motifs.

The models designed for professionals have an increased technical aptitude, yet they do not renounce some flair with their flashy and customisable colours and their sporty signature. Streetwear pieces are conceived in tandem with their sportswear counterparts. Together, they allow for a mix and match wardrobe that is at once versatile and fluid. Horizontal lines, outlined by means of differing fabrics and colours, enliven the pieces and come to populate sleeves and trousers’ lengths. Details are the defining feature of ONE MORE’s recognisable identity: technical, researched, contemporaneous and innovative. Each piece speaks to the label’s characteristics and is to be lived in in absolute freedom.
