The Federation Francaise de la Couture, du Pret-aPorter des Coutiriers et des Createurs de Mode maintain their esteemed reputation as being one of the world’s fashion capitals by having high standards when governing the french fashion industry.  Every year, in January and July, Paris hosts 40 menswear shows. The Federation organises the show schedule in such a way to allow international press and buyers to cover as many collections as possible. The Federation ensure that all designers receive the best coverage by inviting the most acclaimed journalists, photographers and videographers in the industry.

The federation also aims to increase the visibility of young labels by progressively including them in the fashion week calendars, helping their brands expand to foreign markets and gain access to financing for brand growth. Emerging labels tend to have a very strong and original design aesthetic that goes against current trends, making the attendance of these shows worth while.
